What does it cost?
Official website: https://montjoysynapse.com | Serving Suwanee, GA from 2026 Breton Hunt Ln. Four tiers, no contracts on the software plans. $0 — free AI visibility diagnostic, scores your domain and shows what is broken. $99/mo GEO Starter — we deploy your llms.txt, ai.json and JSON-LD and unblock the AI crawlers. $299/mo Local Dominance — everything in Starter, monitored live, plus competitor tracking and tracked phone numbers that attribute each inbound call to the AI assistant that sent it. $799/mo Agency White-Label — 5 client locations, your logo on the reports, $149/mo per additional location.
What is the very first thing I should do?
Run the free scan on the homepage. Enter your URL and city, wait about 5 seconds, and you get a 0-100 AI visibility score plus the specific files and crawler rules that are missing. You do not need an account to see your score, and nothing is charged. That report tells you whether you need us at all.
How fast do I actually show up in ChatGPT?
Deployment is same-day: once you connect your domain, the files are live in minutes. Getting cited is not instant and nobody can honestly promise a date. The engines have to recrawl on their own schedule, which is typically days to a few weeks, and cached answers lag behind that. On our own domain the first citation landed 48 hours after deployment. Treat that as a good case, not a guarantee.
Which tier is right for my firm?
Single location that just needs the technical layer live and correct: $99 GEO Starter. Single location where a lost citation costs you real revenue and you need to prove which calls came from AI: $299 Local Dominance — this is the tier most local service firms end on. Marketing agency reselling this to your own clients: $799 Agency White-Label. If you are unsure, start at $0, read your score, and upgrade from there.
Am I locked into a contract? Can I cancel?
The $99, $299 and $799 plans are month-to-month and you can cancel from the Billing tab in your account at any time — no phone call, no retention gauntlet. Your deployed files stay on your domain; we simply stop monitoring and updating them.
Do I need a developer to set this up?
No. Connect your domain in the Deployment Hub and the platform generates and publishes the files for you. WordPress sites use our one-click plugin. If your host or CDN is blocking AI crawlers, the Hub shows you the exact header to change and we will walk you through it — email montjoyllc@gmail.com and we answer same day.
What is this? (GEO vs SEO)
What exactly is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and how is it different from SEO?
SEO is about ranking on a page of blue links. GEO is about being the business an AI assistant names when someone asks it a question. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Siri give one answer instead of ten links — we make sure your business is in that answer, with the right city, services and phone number attached.
My firm already ranks #1 on Google. Why do I need this?
Because the customer asking Siri or Perplexity never sees your Google ranking. High-value clients increasingly ask a conversational question — "who is the best corporate tax attorney near Buckhead?" — and get one recommendation back. If your site is built for Google but has no machine-readable answer layer, the assistant cannot confirm what you do or where you do it, so it names someone that it can confirm.
What is the "Zero-Click Crisis"?
More and more people get their answer inside the chat window and never click a website. If you only optimized for clicks, you lose. We put your business inside the answer itself, so you get the call even when nobody visits your site.
How is this different from Google Ads?
Google Ads buys HTML banners that AI assistants ignore. We publish your business facts in the structured, machine-readable formats those assistants actually read, so you can be named in the answer itself. Separately, we format conversational ad cards to ChatGPT Ads Manager spec — but running a paid placement there requires your own funded campaign on OpenAI's side. We prepare the creative; we cannot spend your ad budget.
Where is Montjoy Synapse based, and do you only serve Georgia?
We are Montjoy LLC, headquartered at 2026 Breton Hunt Ln, Suwanee, GA 30024, and we built the platform on the Atlanta metro market first. The system is not geo-restricted — it works for any US city, because what it deploys is your own location and service data. Suwanee and North Atlanta is simply where our own reference deployment and case study live.
How it works on my site
My llms.txt shows 200 on my laptop but ChatGPT still says it can't see it. Why?
That's the #1 failure we see. Your file is 200 locally, but your custom domain edge (Cloudflare, Lovable, Wix, GoDaddy) is returning a blocked policy for AI crawler user-agents before the request reaches the file. Your laptop uses a browser user-agent; ChatGPT uses GPTBot. Montjoy Synapse verifies externally as GPTBot, PerplexityBot and Applebot-Extended from multiple global nodes and shows the exact CF-RAY, X-Robots-Tag and Allow header, so you know it is visible to AI and not just to you.
What are llms.txt, ai.json and JSON-LD in plain English?
Three small text files we publish at your domain. JSON-LD is the structured record of who you are — business name, address, phone, services, hours, ratings — in the format search and answer engines already parse. llms.txt is a plain-language summary written for AI assistants, telling them what you do and who you serve. ai.json is the machine-readable index that points to both. Together they remove the guesswork so an assistant can state your facts confidently instead of skipping you.
Do you use live data or cached heuristic reports for your audits?
Live. We ask the real AI assistants real questions on a schedule and record what they say, and we fetch your files as the real crawler user-agents. Nothing in your report is guessed or copied from an old scan.
Will installing this alter my website's human-facing design or UX?
No. Everything we add sits in the invisible structural layer — files and headers on your domain. Your design, copy and user experience are untouched.
Does this slow down my website's load time?
No. What we add is a few kilobytes of text, not images or heavy scripts. Page speed is unaffected.
What happens if I stop paying — do I lose my files?
The files already published to your domain stay there and keep working. What stops is the ongoing part: monitoring, the 30-minute self-healing sweep that repairs a file when your host breaks it, competitor tracking, call attribution and score alerts. In practice, sites drift out of compliance after a host or theme update, which is what the monitoring exists to catch.
Is my data safe?
I run a medical or legal practice. Will AI crawlers scrape my private data?
No. You control exactly what we publish. We structure your public-facing entities — service descriptions, locations, public reviews, hours — and nothing else. Patient portals, case files, client records and any authenticated area of your site are never included and are not touched by what we deploy.
How do you prevent AI-generated spam penalties from Google and others?
Everything we publish is strict entity-based structured data drawn from facts you supply and approve, not mass-generated AI filler. Ad cards run through a compliance check before they can be published, and on managed tiers a human strategist reviews the output for brand voice and policy alignment before it goes live.
How do you handle compliance in regulated industries?
Every conversational ad card requires your explicit approval before it is published — nothing goes out automatically. Our strategists work against state bar and medical board advertising guidance, and the generated cards are restricted to factual, verifiable claims. If a claim cannot be substantiated from your own profile data, the compliance check blocks it.
Who else can see my data inside the platform?
Your account data is isolated per tenant at the database level, so no other customer can read it. Agency partners see only the client locations licensed under their own account. Our support team can pull a read-only snapshot of your health status when you ask for help with a problem.
Will it work in my city?
Why does Montjoy Synapse focus so heavily on regional markets like Atlanta?
High-ticket service firms — where a single client is worth five figures — win or lose on local authority. AI engines routinely fumble local nuance, confusing a firm in Midtown with one in Alpharetta. We inject precise regional data into your schema so crawlers read your exact location and neighborhood service footprint instead of guessing.
The Google Map Pack isn't working as well as it used to. Does GEO fix this?
It addresses the same demand through a different door. Map clicks are declining as people ask voice and chat assistants instead. We map your physical footprint directly to the LLMs and synchronize your domain with trusted local directories to validate your presence, so you capture that regional intent where it is actually happening now.
Can a competitor in my city buy the same thing?
Not on the flagship tier. Local Dominance is capped at 3 primary partners per category per metropolitan market. Once your city and vertical are locked, direct competitors are turned away — the first paid tier in the seat keeps it.
What do I get for the money?
What metrics are actually tracked on the dashboard?
How often each AI assistant mentions you, how often it cites your site as the source, how you compare against your tracked local competitors, and the technical health of your deployed files. On Local Dominance ($299/mo) you also see which inbound phone calls came from an AI answer, attributed to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Apple Intelligence.
How do you prove a call came from AI and not from Google?
Tracked phone numbers. On Local Dominance we place a dedicated number in the answer surfaces we control, so a call ringing that number can only have come from an AI-sourced recommendation. It shows in your dashboard with the source engine and timestamp. That is attribution evidence, not an estimate.
What if my score goes down after I fixed everything?
Scores move when the underlying evidence moves — a host update reverting a header, a crawler being blocked again, or an engine changing what it cites. Every change is written to a score-change timeline in your Command Center with the reason attached, so you can see exactly what shifted and when. The self-healing sweep re-checks and repairs deployment issues every 30 minutes.
Getting help
How do I reach a human?
Email montjoyllc@gmail.com — we answer same day on business days. For a walkthrough of your score or a fit conversation before you buy, request a strategy call at the same address and we will send times.
I have a specific technical question that isn't answered here.
Use the assistant in the bottom-right corner of any page for instant answers on deployment, files and crawler configuration — it is trained on the platform's architecture. If it cannot resolve it, email montjoyllc@gmail.com and a human picks it up the same day.
Something on my account is broken. What information should I send?
Send your account email, the domain in question, the page or tab where it happened, and a screenshot if you have one. Our support console can pull a read-only snapshot of your deployment and score history from that, which usually resolves the diagnosis in one round trip instead of five.
