MONTJOY SYNAPSE PRIVACY POLICY
Montjoy, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through compliance with this Privacy Policy (“Policy”).
This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the website montjoysynapse.com (including all subdomains, the “Website”), utilize the Montjoy Synapse cloud platform (the “Platform”), or activate our Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and data-tracking middleware services (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy also outlines our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
1. Applicability of This Policy
This Policy applies to information we collect:
- On this Website and within the authenticated Platform environment (/auth, /platform, etc.).
- In email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Platform.
- Through data pipelines, tracking code, and script integrations deployed on your business website.
- Via automated cloud-telephony systems, call routing triggers, and text logs powered by our integrated telecommunications providers (including Twilio).
It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the Website or Platform.
2. Information We Collect About You
A. Information You Provide Directly to Us

- Customer Support Records: Records and copies of your correspondence if you contact our engineering or support teams.
B. Information Collected Automatically Through the Platform
- Usage Details and IP Addresses: Traffic data, logs, location data, communication metrics, and the resources that you access and use on the Website.
- System Logs and Metadata: Machine configuration data, operating systems, and web browser types utilized to access our infrastructure.
- Tracking Technologies: First-party cookies, web beacons, and pixels to preserve session security configurations and maintain dashboard persistence.
C. Downstream Lead, Call, and SMS Tracking Data (The Twilio Pipeline)
- Telephony Metadata: Inbound caller ID data, time of call, call duration, originating location variables, and termination endpoints.
- SMS & Conversational Data: Text message payloads, conversational transcripts generated by on-site lead capture widgets, and associated automated prompt histories.
- AI Crawler Activity Logs: Technical log metrics detailing when and how external Large Language Model (LLM) scraping bots (e.g., OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic, Gemini) request, read, or process your public-facing machine-readable files (such as llms.txt).
3. How We Use Your Information
- Service Delivery: To provision, maintain, and secure your Exclusive Territory node configurations and build automated schema architectures.
- Attribution Reporting: To populate your Montjoy Synapse dashboard with real-time Twilio tracking logs, showing precisely how many leads were referred by generative engine search queries.
- Telecommunications Processing: To programmatically route inbound calls and process automated SMS text alerts configured within your administrative suite.
- Customer Communication: To notify you about subscription updates, automatic renewals, waitlist modifications, or changes to our Website, Platform, or legal documentation.
- Platform Enforcement: To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including billing, collections, and the Forfeiture of Moat policies under Section 3.3 of the Master Terms of Service.
4. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or lease your private personal information or your downstream consumer leads to third-party data brokers. We disclose compiled information only as described below:
- To Core Service Providers: We share necessary data sets with third-party infrastructure vendors that support our core software operations. This includes cloud hosting environments (such as AWS), transactional payment gateways (such as Stripe), and cloud-telephony frameworks (Twilio Inc. for telephone number provisioning and routing logistics).
- To Foundational AI Engines: Public business profile configurations, structured JSON-LD schemas, and llms.txt directories are explicitly made public and transmitted to external AI search engines, crawlers, and LLM providers to execute your chosen optimization directives.
- For Corporate Transactions: To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, or sale of some or all of Montjoy, LLC’s assets, in which user data held by us is among the assets transferred.
- For Legal Compliance: To comply with any court order, valid law, or legal process, including responding to any government, telecom regulatory, or law enforcement request.
5. Telecommunications and SMS Privacy Assurances (CTIA Compliance)
A. Lead and Caller Privacy
Montjoy Synapse treats the identities of inbound consumers routing through your Twilio tracking accounts with strict confidentiality. Telephony metadata is captured solely to build your attribution charts and confirm client ROI.
B. SMS Consent & Opt-In Safeguards
If you deploy our conversational text response middleware, you warrant that your customer acquisition channels feature valid consumer opt-in text. Mobile information/consent collected for SMS notification workflows will not be shared with unrelated third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. All automated text distributions triggered via our Twilio processing queues strictly feature mandatory “STOP” opt-out triggers in compliance with CTIA and carrier regulations.
6. Data Security and Protection
We have implemented commercial-grade administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
- Encryption Protocols: All database transactions, dashboard access loops, and configuration requests are encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates.
- Access Control: Administrative privileges to backend multi-tenant architectures are locked behind strict Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) parameters and limited to essential engineering personnel.
- Third-Party Processing: Payment processing data is routed directly to our secure, PCI-compliant payment merchant gateway and is never housed natively on Montjoy Synapse server nodes.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
7. Third-Party Data Handling and Cookie Management
Our Website utilizes structural functional cookies to manage authenticated sessions. We may integrate analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics) to monitor system uptime and UI efficiency. You can adjust your localized web browser configurations to block web cookies; however, disabling cookies will prevent your browser from accessing the administrative console of the Platform.
8. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material modifications to how we handle our users’ personal information, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document and notify you via a system alert on your primary administrative dashboard interface or via the primary email address registered to your account.
